Whole-home renovation concept by Mark Ritch
Whole-Home

When one room becomes the whole house.

Sometimes a kitchen remodel becomes a kitchen-and-living-room remodel becomes "let's just do the downstairs." We're equipped for it — and we phase the work so you can still live in your home while we build.

Whole-home projects are where sustainability really pays off. New insulation, solar tie-ins, smart water systems. Build it right once, and your home runs cheaper for the next 30 years.

FAQ

The questions everyone asks.

How long does a kitchen or bathroom remodel take?

Most bathroom remodels take 4–6 weeks from demo to final walkthrough. Kitchens typically run 6–10 weeks depending on scope — cabinet lead times are often the slowest piece. We give you a firm timeline with your quote and hold to it.

Do you give fixed-price quotes?

Yes. Every project starts with a written, fixed-price quote — labor, materials, the works. If we open a wall and find something unexpected (rotted framing, old plumbing), we tell you before we charge you. No work happens without your sign-off.

What areas of Florida do you serve?

Gainesville, Alachua, High Springs, Newberry, Ocala, Lake City, and surrounding North Central Florida communities — generally within 60 miles of Gainesville. For larger projects we sometimes travel further; just ask.

What makes a sustainable remodel different?

Materials that last longer, fixtures that use less water and energy, and design choices that reduce your utility bills for decades. A sustainable remodel costs about the same up front as a conventional one — and pays itself back every month in lower bills.

Can we live in our home during the remodel?

In most cases, yes — especially for single-room remodels. For larger whole-home work, we phase the project so you always have a working kitchen and at least one bathroom. We talk through this on the free consultation.

What does it cost to get a quote?

Nothing. The in-home consultation and quote are free, whether you hire us or not. We'd rather earn the project than pressure you into it.
